EARL "Pineapple" MEDEIROS

Earl Medeiros , 71, of Caldwell, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010, in Yuma Ariz., in the arms of his wife and daughters. Earl was born May 25, 1938, in Honolulu Hawaii to Catherine and Peter Medeiros, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by two brothers, Morris and Norman, a sister June, and previous wife Linda. Earl is survived by his wife Mary, five daughters Tamura, Camay, Cindy, Christie, and Carol, and their families, and two sisters Willadean and Tekla and their families. Throughout his life, Earl was well-known as a people person which served him well in his various careers and hobbies. He has been a 33 year member of the ham radio community as WB7RES. His love of people, camping, computers, and the Broncos kept him busy through his retirement years. He also blessed many people with his love of singing and playing Hawaiian music on his ukulele at various weddings, events, and campgrounds. Since his retirement following a heart attack in 2002, he and Mary have enjoyed the RV lifestyle splitting time between SISCRA RV Park in Donnelly, Idaho and their snowbird home in Yuma, Ariz. A memorial luau is will be held to celebrate his life at a later date in Idaho.
